Far more than an instrument, this silver sparkle Washburn Starfire is a true relic of rock history. Designed specifically for Paul Stanley in 2012, it reflects the flamboyant aesthetic of the co-founder of KISS. Its mahogany body, black and silver sparkle finish, and chrome hardware embody the band’s spectacular extravagance. Heavily used on stage, notably during the legendary KISS Rocks Vegas show in 2014 and the End of the Road tour, it still bears the marks of these electrifying performances, including picks attached to the body and headstock. The instrument becomes a precious relic thanks to Paul Stanley’s handwritten signature, accompanied by the inscription: “This Starfire was rocked around the world and Kiss Rocks Vegas.”
The instrument comes in its original Washburn case, marked by touring use, and is accompanied by an official farewell tour T-shirt as well as two concert wristbands. Rare and authentic, this collector’s piece reflects the unstoppable energy of one of the greatest performers in rock history.
