On November 19th, the grand opening night of the Kaleo exhibition took place. Conceived as an intimate acoustic performance, it brought together fans from across Europe to listen to J.J. Julius Son for a few songs.
Between setlists from the Payback Tour and stage guitars, we were able to present our poster created especially for the event. Developed in close collaboration with J.J., we included numerous references to the band’s Nordic roots while adapting it to this new European tour. Each city Kaleo visited is represented by an iconic monument, while the melancholic cowboy watches from his snowy cliff, anticipating his upcoming journey. This original work was signed by J.J., who also wrote for us, for the first time, manuscripts of his greatest hits. Some of these items are still available on our Matt’s Rock Gallery website!
This intimate evening allowed everyone to appreciate the magic of J.J.’s voice and the poetic power of their songs. It was recorded by Studio Providence and will be broadcast soon. Thanks to all for this wonderful event!
