With this Gibson series designed by Leo Scala, the concept is simple yet ambitious: to return to a raw, instinctive electric guitar built first and foremost for playing and performing on stage. The Explorer, already famous for its bold design since its introduction by Gibson in the 1950s, is taken here in an even more direct, almost instinctive direction. No unnecessary embellishments, no aesthetic or tonal compromises—just an immediate connection between the musician and the instrument.
