Ondanks de dood van de superster liet de uitgebrachte film de fans zien wat dit laatste tournee had kunnen zijn, met beelden uit de repetities. Daarin is Orianthi duidelijk zichtbaar, PRS in de hand, schitterend tijdens het ultieme gitaarmoment uit Jacksons discografie: de solo van *Beat It*, oorspronkelijk opgenomen door Eddie Van Halen.<\/p>\n<p>Na deze wereldwijde exposure gebruikte de jonge virtuoos de kans om enkele maanden later haar album *Believe* uit te brengen. Het album was al sinds 2007 klaar, en de publiciteit rond *This Is It* was te groot om de release niet hierop af te stemmen. Het album werd een succes, mede dankzij het duet met Steve Vai op het instrumentale *Highly Strung*, dat uitgroeide tot een virale video.<\/p>\n<p>In 2011 werd Orianthi de eerste vrouwelijke muzikant die toetreedt tot de Alice Cooper Band, als een frisse wind in een formatie die eerder gewend was aan getatoe\u00eberde goths dan aan blonde dames met hoeden. De legendarische geschminkte zanger waardeerde dit evenwicht zozeer dat toen Orianthi de band in 2014 verliet, Cooper haar verving door Nita Strauss, eveneens een shredder.<\/p>\n<p>Na dit nieuwe vertrek combineerde de Australische haar solocarri\u00e8re met werkzaamheden als ingehuurde gitarist, onder andere samen met Dave Stewart en later Richie Sambora. Sambora waardeerde hun muzikale chemie zozeer dat ze samen een band oprichtten: RSO. Het eerste album van dit project, *Radio Free America*, werd uitgebracht in 2018 en markeert opnieuw een succes in het indrukwekkende palmares van de muzikante.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Heb je vragen over dit product?
