Het titelnummer groeide uit tot een <strong>universeel anthem<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong>Combat Rock (1982)<\/strong> en de hit <strong>&#8220;Should I Stay or Should I Go&#8221;<\/strong> bezorgden de band wereldwijd commercieel succes.<br \/>\nJoe Strummer wordt beschouwd als een van de meest <strong>maatschappelijk ge\u00ebngageerde songschrijvers<\/strong> uit de rockgeschiedenis.
