Oorsprong en beginjaren<\/h2>\n

Stanley Bert Eisen<\/strong> werd geboren op 20 januari 1952<\/strong> in Manhattan<\/strong>, New York. Geboren met microtie<\/strong> (een misvorming van het rechteroor), vond hij in muziek een uitweg. In 1973<\/strong> richtte hij samen met Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley<\/strong> en Peter Criss<\/strong> de band Kiss<\/strong> op.<\/p>\n

Kiss: het ultieme rockspektakel<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

Met hun make-up<\/strong>, kostuums<\/strong> en pyrotechnische shows<\/strong> revolutioneerde Kiss de live rockshow<\/strong>. Albums zoals Destroyer (1976)<\/strong>, Love Gun (1977)<\/strong> en Dynasty (1979)<\/strong> brachten hits voort als “Rock and Roll All Nite”<\/strong>, “Detroit Rock City”<\/strong> en “I Was Made for Lovin’ You”<\/strong>.
Kiss heeft wereldwijd meer dan 100 miljoen albums<\/strong> verkocht.
Paul Stanley is ook een erkend schilder<\/strong>, die zijn werken tentoonstelt en verkoopt in galerijen door heel de Verenigde Staten. Hij schreef de succesvolle autobiografie Face the Music: A Life Exposed (2014)<\/strong>, waarin hij voor het eerst sprak over zijn moeilijkheden rond zijn microtie<\/strong> en het gedeeltelijke gehoorverlies dat daaruit voortkwam.<\/p>\n
