Origini e inizi<\/h2>\n

Saul Hudson<\/strong>, noto come Slash<\/strong>, nasce il 23 luglio 1965<\/strong> a Hampstead<\/strong>, Londra, da padre inglese e madre afroamericana. Cresce a Los Angeles<\/strong> e inizia a suonare la chitarra all’et\u00e0 di 15 anni<\/strong>, influenzato da Aerosmith<\/strong>, Led Zeppelin<\/strong> e dal blues<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Guns N’ Roses<\/h2>\n

Con i Guns N’ Roses<\/strong> co-scrive alcuni dei riff pi\u00f9 celebri della storia del rock, tra cui “Sweet Child O’ Mine”<\/strong>, “Welcome to the Jungle”<\/strong> e “Paradise City”<\/strong>. Appetite for Destruction (1987)<\/strong> rimane il disco d’esordio pi\u00f9 venduto di tutti i tempi<\/strong>.
\nLascia il gruppo nel 1996<\/strong> a causa delle tensioni con Axl Rose<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Carriera solista e ritorno<\/h2>\n

Fonda gli Slash’s Snakepit<\/strong> e successivamente collabora con Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators<\/strong>. Nel 2016<\/strong> torna nei Guns N’ Roses per il tour Not in This Lifetime<\/strong>. \u00c8 regolarmente considerato da riviste e critici musicali uno dei pi\u00f9 grandi chitarristi di tutti i tempi<\/strong>.
\nSlash \u00e8 anche un grande appassionato di serpenti<\/strong> e rettili<\/strong> e possiede una notevole collezione nella sua casa di Los Angeles. La sua immagine \u2014 cilindro<\/strong>, riccioli neri<\/strong>, sigaretta<\/strong> e Les Paul<\/strong> \u2014 \u00e8 diventata cos\u00ec iconica da essere stata parodiata e omaggiata in innumerevoli film, serie televisive e videogiochi (in particolare Guitar Hero<\/strong>). \u00c8 spesso classificato nella top 5 dei pi\u00f9 grandi chitarristi della storia<\/strong> dalle riviste specializzate.<\/p>\n

Slash \u00e8 indissolubilmente associato alla Gibson Les Paul Standard<\/strong>, in particolare a una replica di un modello del 1959<\/strong> commercializzata come Gibson Signature<\/strong>. Il suo cilindro<\/strong>, i suoi riccioli neri<\/strong> e la sua Les Paul costituiscono una delle immagini pi\u00f9 riconoscibili della storia del rock.<\/p>\n
