Carrera en solitario<\/h2>\n

Sus \u00e1lbumes en directo, especialmente Irish Tour ’74 (1974)<\/strong>, est\u00e1n considerados entre las mejores grabaciones en vivo de blues-rock<\/strong> de todos los tiempos. Su estilo combinaba blues<\/strong>, rock<\/strong>, folk celta<\/strong> y jazz<\/strong> con una intensidad excepcional.

Muerte y legado<\/h2>\n

Rory Gallagher falleci\u00f3 el 14 de junio de 1995<\/strong> en Londres a la edad de 47 a\u00f1os<\/strong>, debido a complicaciones tras un trasplante de h\u00edgado<\/strong>. Cuando le preguntaron a Jimi Hendrix<\/strong> qu\u00e9 se sent\u00eda al ser el mejor guitarrista del mundo, se dice que respondi\u00f3: \u201cNo lo s\u00e9, preg\u00fantenselo a Rory Gallagher.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guitarra emblem\u00e1tica<\/h2>\n

Su Fender Stratocaster de 1961<\/strong>, cuya pintura sunburst qued\u00f3 casi completamente desgastada<\/strong> tras d\u00e9cadas de uso, es una de las guitarras m\u00e1s ic\u00f3nicas<\/strong> de la historia del rock. Tambi\u00e9n utiliz\u00f3 una Gibson Melody Maker de 1960<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
