Blood Sugar y Californication<\/h2>\n

Tras la muerte de Hillel Slovak<\/strong> en 1988<\/strong>, John Frusciante<\/strong> se uni\u00f3 al grupo. Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991)<\/strong>, producido por Rick Rubin<\/strong>, marc\u00f3 un punto de inflexi\u00f3n: \u00abUnder the Bridge\u00bb<\/strong> y \u00abGive It Away\u00bb<\/strong> se convirtieron en \u00e9xitos mundiales.
Despu\u00e9s de un per\u00edodo dif\u00edcil, Californication (1999)<\/strong> represent\u00f3 un regreso triunfal. By the Way (2002)<\/strong> y Stadium Arcadium (2006)<\/strong> confirmaron su estatus como la mayor banda de rock alternativo<\/strong> del mundo.
Flea<\/strong> (nombre real Michael Balzary<\/strong>) es un m\u00fasico completo: trompetista con formaci\u00f3n cl\u00e1sica, actor (aparece en Back to the Future Part II<\/strong> y The Big Lebowski<\/strong>) y bajista. Su t\u00e9cnica de slap<\/strong>, agresiva y mel\u00f3dica a la vez, redefini\u00f3 el papel del bajo en el rock. Su colaboraci\u00f3n con Frusciante es considerada una de las secciones de guitarra y bajo m\u00e1s creativas<\/strong> de la historia del rock.<\/p>\n
