Trust<\/strong> was formed in Paris<\/strong> in 1977<\/strong> by Bernie Bonvoisin<\/strong> (vocals) and Norbert “Nono” Krief<\/strong> (guitar). Marche ou cr\u00e8ve (1981)<\/strong> and Savage (1982)<\/strong>, recorded with Nicko McBrain<\/strong> of Iron Maiden, further confirmed the band’s power and popularity.<\/p>\n Bernie Bonvoisin’s outspoken lyrics tackled issues such as social injustice<\/strong>, police repression<\/strong>, and abuses of power<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The fact that Anthrax<\/strong> covered “Antisocial”<\/strong> in 1988<\/strong> on the album State of Euphoria<\/strong> gave Trust international exposure and demonstrated the influence of the French band on the global metal scene.
