With <strong>Parklife (1994)<\/strong>, Blur became a leading force of <strong>Britpop<\/strong>, winning <strong>4 Brit Awards<\/strong> in a single night.<br \/>The media rivalry with <strong>Oasis<\/strong> peaked in <strong>August 1995<\/strong> with the simultaneous release of <strong>&#8220;Country House&#8221;<\/strong> (Blur) and <strong>&#8220;Roll with It&#8221;<\/strong> (Oasis). Blur won the chart battle, but Oasis sold more albums overall.
