Wie Soundtracks f\u00fcr eine \u00c4ra werden die gr\u00f6\u00dften Hits durch ihr durchdachtes visuelles Konzept lebendig. Heute werfen wir einen Blick auf den Meister dieser Kunst: Billy Gibbons.<\/strong><\/p>\n

ZZ Top haben \u00fcber Jahrzehnte hinweg mit ihren Hits und Live-Auftritten ein exzentrisches und unverwechselbares Image geschaffen. Die drei texanischen Cowboys entwickelten ihren eigenen Stil \u2013 H\u00fcte, lange B\u00e4rte und au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliche Gitarren. H\u00e4ufig traten Billy Gibbons und Dusty Hill mit abgestimmten Instrumenten auf, die speziell f\u00fcr sie angefertigt wurden. Doch kaum ein Instrument ist so ikonisch wie Billy Gibbons\u2019 ber\u00fchmte Billy Bo \u2013 eines seiner bekanntesten Gitarrenmodelle. Ihre ungew\u00f6hnliche Form wurde zum Markenzeichen des amerikanischen Gitarristen, der sie in zahlreichen Farben, Oberfl\u00e4chen und Varianten neu interpretiert hat. Urspr\u00fcnglich basiert sie auf der legend\u00e4ren Jupiter Thunderbird, einer von Bo Diddley 1959 entworfenen Gitarre. Als leidenschaftlicher Gretsch-Sammler und Kenner der E-Gitarrengeschichte machte Gibbons aus diesem seltenen Instrument eine dauerhafte Hommage, die beide Namen tr\u00e4gt: Billy Bo \u2013 f\u00fcr Billy<\/strong><\/em> Gibbons und Bo<\/strong><\/em> Diddley. Der Aufbau orientiert sich an der 1959er Originalversion, die Gibbons bis heute besitzt. Der Legende nach lie\u00df er Gretsch eine identische Kopie f\u00fcr seine Touren bauen, um das Original zu schonen.<\/p>\n
