Vom Texas-Blues zum Synth-Rock<\/h2>\n

Die fr\u00fchen Alben, darunter Tres Hombres (1973)<\/strong> mit dem Hit „La Grange“<\/strong>, etablierten den authentischen Blues-Rock<\/strong> der Band. Die legend\u00e4re Worldwide Texas Tour (1976\u20131977)<\/strong>, bei der echtes texanisches Vieh auf der B\u00fchne stand, ging in die Rockgeschichte ein.
Eliminator (1983)<\/strong> mit seinen Synthesizern<\/strong> und bahnbrechenden MTV-Videos („Sharp Dressed Man“, „Legs“) verkaufte sich \u00fcber 10 Millionen Mal<\/strong> in den USA.
Die langen B\u00e4rte<\/strong> von Billy Gibbons und Dusty Hill wurden zu einem ebenso ikonischen Markenzeichen wie ihre Musik. Ironischerweise hei\u00dft das einzige glattrasierte Mitglied Frank Beard<\/strong>. Im Jahr 2013<\/strong> soll die Rasiermarke Gillette<\/strong> ihnen 1 Million Dollar<\/strong> angeboten haben, um sich f\u00fcr eine Werbung zu rasieren \u2013 ein Angebot, das sie ablehnten.<\/p>\n

Dusty Hill<\/strong> starb am 28. Juli 2021<\/strong> im Alter von 72 Jahren<\/strong>. ZZ Top wurde im Jahr 2004<\/strong> in die Rock and Roll Hall of Fame<\/strong> aufgenommen. Die Band hat weltweit \u00fcber 50 Millionen Alben<\/strong> verkauft. Billy Gibbons tourt weiterhin zu Ehren von Hill.<\/p>\n
