Die Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/strong> wurden 1983<\/strong> in Los Angeles<\/strong> von Anthony Kiedis<\/strong> (Gesang), Flea<\/strong> (Bass), Hillel Slovak<\/strong> (Gitarre) und Jack Irons<\/strong> (Schlagzeug) gegr\u00fcndet. Die Band verband Funk, Punk, Rock<\/strong> und Rap<\/strong> zu einem damals v\u00f6llig neuen Stil.<\/p>\n

Blood Sugar und Californication<\/h2>\n

Nach dem Tod von Hillel Slovak<\/strong> im Jahr 1988<\/strong> stie\u00df John Frusciante<\/strong> zur Band. Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991)<\/strong>, produziert von Rick Rubin<\/strong>, markierte einen Wendepunkt: \u201eUnder the Bridge\u201c<\/strong> und \u201eGive It Away\u201c<\/strong> wurden weltweite Hits.
Nach einer schwierigen Phase bedeutete Californication (1999)<\/strong> ein triumphales Comeback. By the Way (2002)<\/strong> und Stadium Arcadium (2006)<\/strong> festigten ihren Status als gr\u00f6\u00dfte Alternative-Rock-Band der Welt<\/strong>.
Flea<\/strong> (b\u00fcrgerlich Michael Balzary<\/strong>) ist ein vielseitiger Musiker: klassisch ausgebildeter Trompeter, Schauspieler (unter anderem in Back to the Future Part II<\/strong> und The Big Lebowski<\/strong>) sowie ein Bassist, dessen aggressiver und zugleich melodischer Slap-Stil<\/strong> die Rolle des Basses im Rock neu definierte. Sein Zusammenspiel mit Frusciante gilt als eines der kreativsten Gitarren-Bass-Duos<\/strong> der Rockgeschichte.<\/p>\n
